The plant details aspect of a garden design project can be undertaken as a continuing part of the process, or can be left until a later date, if the works are to be phased. In both instances, Kevin will discuss with the client preferences to different types of plant material/textures and colouring likes and dislikes.

Planting is very personal, and Kevin discusses this at length using examples of styles and colouring in photographs and books, ensuring that the client is very comfortable with the anticipated next stage (and to a lot of clients the most exciting).

The borders are drafted and enlarged if necessary from the presentation layout (to 1:50).

A new drawing is then prepared detailing the new trees and plants that are required along with appropriate names and numbers, all relating to aspects, and the clients preferences.

Kevin then meets with the client to discuss the planting plans, and guides the client through the reasoning behind his choice of planting.

Included with the above plant detail is a plant schedule and maintenance guide (if desired).
